WELCOME to BALTIMORE NET RADIO (BNR)!  We are a unique radio station streaming on the internet for discriminating listeners.  Affiliated with Fredericksburg Network Radio, we feature some of the greatest music of the mid 20th Century -- the type of music that is seldom played anywhere else today.  Tune in to hear artists like Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Tony Bennett, Connie Francis, Patti Page, Johnny Mathis, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, Brenda Lee,  and all the greats from the 40's, 50's and 60's.  We will make an occasional excursion into the 70's and later, to feature artists such as Michael Buble', Rod Stewart, and others who have learned to cover "the old standards" in their own inimitable way.  

BNR will also air some new sounds in the evening; music from some of the great jazz legends...Stan Getz, Duke Ellington, Charlie Byrd, Johnny Hartman, Stan Kenton, and John Coltrane, to name a few.  So tune in for the evening sound beginning at 6:00 pm NYT.

BNR features  weekly themed  programs including  "A Visit With Connie Francis"  and "In The Spotlight" hour where we will feature one or more recording artists     Check our  program schedule for upcoming shows and feel free to contact us if you have a particular recording artist that you would like us to showcase.  In addition, our listeners are welcome to call our station to leave a comment or share a memory of one of their favorite vocalists -- that we may use on the air during one of our special themed programs.  

Baltimore Net Radio also hosts "Tribute Shows" to honor the legendary talents of the 20th Century.  BNR has hosted birthday tributes to Doris Day, Brenda Lee, Connie Francis, Dolly Parton, Pat Boone, Johnny Mathis, and Patti Page.  All are legendary in their own right and each have contributed to the "Greatest Music of the 20th Century."  We will be hosting more tributes throughout  2013, so again, be sure to check our program schedule frequently.
